The Judging Panel:

  • Phillip Buxton 

    Editor, Revolution

    Phillip Buxton has been writing about the digital marketing industry since 1998. He joined Revolution in June 2004 and took over as editor.


  • Chris Colborn 

    EVP Worldwide Creative Director, R/GA

    Colborn is responsible for creative leadership for R/GA's global accounts and international offices, most specifically in support of Nokia. He has 15 years' interactive design experience.


  • Rob Corradi 

    Creative director, Preloaded

    Corradi, who has previously judged and won BIMA awards, co-founded Preloaded in 1999. He also founded the web-design portal www.linkdup.com, to showcase creative excellence.



  • Simon Crab 

    Co-founder and creative director, Lateral

    Crab has an understanding of all the components of media and communication from a creative point of view. He has been in the digital 'medium' for 20 years.


  • Sebastian Crump 

    Senior digital media consultant, COI

    Crump has more than six years' experience working with public sector sites. He is an advocate of accessibility and works closely with organisations such as RNIB


  • Steve Dale 

    Deputy head of new media, The National Gallery, London

    Dale has worked with technology for 17 years. For the past six he has been responsible for public facing interactive media for one of the world's leading art galleries.



  • Tom Evans 

    Founder and creative director, Mook

    An award-winning creative director whose achievements include a BAFTA nomination for work on The Sunday Times, 25 projects for MTV and several digital campaigns for Playstation.


  • Damian Ferrar 

    Design Director, Imagination Group Ltd

    Over the past nine years, Ferrar has helped develop a number of projects for major brands covering a range of digital applications.


  • Clive Grinyer 

    Director of design & usability innovation, Orange Group

    Grinyer is a well-known UK web designer. He co-founded design consultancy Tangerine and worked with IDEO and Fitch.



  • Craig Hill 

    Chairman, Digital Outlook

    Hill has been chariman of Digital Outlook for three years. The agency specialises in innovative approaches to international marketing in the entertainment sector.


  • Jason Holland 

    Creative Director, Underwired

    Holland has co-founded thwo agencies, Head New Media (which became the digital arm of Lowe in 1998) and Underwired, whose clients include Orange.


  • David Hurren 

    Creative Director, LBi

    Hurren was appointed creative director at FramFab UK in 2004, and consequently creative director of the joint agency creative team that resulted from the summer 2005 merger of Framfab and Oyster Partners.



  • David King 

    Associate Director, APCO online, EMEA

    King has been a key player in the digital sector since 1993, with roles as founder and managing partner of DDB Interactive, CEO of Icon Medialab UK, and MD, EMEA of Digital@JWT.


  • Alessandra Lariu 

    Senior Creative, Agency Republic

    Lariu has 11 years experience in digital with spells at three top agencies - Oyster, Framfab and now Agency Republic. She is currently creative director on the O2 account and has worked for Diageo, BBC and Thomas Cook.


  • Anna-Louise Marsh-Rees 

    Digital Marketing, Offshore Banking, Lloyds TSB

    Marsh-Rees is responsible for digital marketing activity for Offshore Banking at high-street bank Lloyds TSB.



  • Jane Nash 

    Director Customer Relations and Marketing, Espresso Education

    Nash has spent the majority of her career developing strategies and executing integrated maketing campaigns (direct mail, interactive, teleservices).


  • Katie Streten 

    Factual Editor, Channel 4

    Streten has worked in web technologies since 1995. She is now responsible for all Channel 4's factual output online covering news and sport, health, history, culture and special projects.


  • Nick Turner 

    Creative Director, AKQA

    Since joining AKQA, Turner's groundbreaking work for clients including Microsoft, BMW, Nikon and Mini has won awards and recognition throughout the industry.



  • Richard Vickers 

    Senior Lecturer new media / Multimedia Producer / New Media Artist, Hull School of Art & Design / Fuzi New Media

    Vickers was a multimedia producer on a range of interactive projects before taking up lecturing full time.


  • Paul Walsh (chair)

    Chair, Bima

    Paul Walsh was elected as chair for the 2006 BIMA Awards in May 2006. He is also CEO of Segala, a company specialising in accessibility and mobile testing.
