BIMA Grand Prix Winner

Visitors to this web site created by student Nick Goward can take part in a virtual balloon race around the world.

Once registered, users can create and customise their own virtual balloon, including choosing the colour, uploading a picture and writing a message on a postcard to attach to it, before sending it on its way in whichever direction they choose.

There is an option to traick a particular balloon on its journey, and see how other balloons are doing on the top ten list, add postcards to other balloons, and view postcards from balloons that have completed their journeys in the archive section.

Goward created the site in response to the major project brief set as part of his degree course in interactive multimedia at the Hull School of Art & Design, part of the University of Lincoln.
