BIMA Awards 2006 - Best Mobile Game

Criteria

This award recognises the most outstanding example of gaming created for a mobile device. Judges looked for creativity, inspiration, high production values and most importantly great game to play.

Square Enix wanted a mobile game that retained the integrity of the console. Users get console-quality content including inuitive target systems and quality backgrounds. Dirge of Cerberus: Lost EPisode - Final Fatansy VII tells the story three years after Meteorfall, where the original Final Fantasy VII ended, with Vincent Valentine struggling to save the world from Deepgroundm a mysterious army of bloodthirsty warriors.

This role-player takes advantage of all mobile gaming has to offer, allowing players to explore a sprawling world in Battlefield mode, and do battle in FPS mode.

The 3D game was created together with Ideaworks3D and is available exclusively on Amp'd Mobile handsets.
