We Are What We Do describes itself as a movement, as opposed to a charity or organisation, so it was essential that the web site, which also won the award in the best charity/not-for-profit category, was community based.

Developed by digital agency LBi, the site enables visitors to join in and interact in a variety of ways, including suggesting an action they think could help change the world. It includes a message board for posting messages, sharing stories and information, as well as a section providing information and tips on how people can involve their school or work in the movement.

Visitors can also sign up for a weekly newsletter, download video clips from the site - including lesson plans for schools - and visit the online shop to buy the Change The World 9 to 5 book, and other materials related to the movement such as postcards and posters.
