Details
Reporting directly to the CTO, your primary responsibility will be as the lead developer on a number of prestigious projects.We are looking for a software developer with 3-4 years post-graduate experience. Someone with a deep understanding and passion for OO PHP programming, and a desire to work on 50-500k development projects for companies such as the BBC, Times Online, Channel 4, Eddie Izzard etc.
We have a fun, mentally-stimulating and creative environment, filled with many other highly-skilled individuals with world-class web skills. You will also help run the development team, develop the skills of the junior developers and write amazing code for high-profile web sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Hands-on coding in line with strict coding standards (often to meet tight deadlines)
• Work closely with the CTO to ensure the high standard of development expected.
• Help define and communicate future development methodologies.
• Mentoring and guidance for the technical team.
• Help with writing specifications and estimating time required to deliver on projects.
